at this point, Android phones are officially created is faster than human babies. Samsung Galaxy phones have been literally the blueprint for the last year. The Galaxy S II is the new blueprint - and it is a very pretty.
The got test - Android-phone I have ever used, bar none, no holds barred, etc., thanks to a crunchy gingerbread heart and a 1.2 dual-core chip coupled with 1 GB RAM. I can get used to this kind of WHIPLASH. It is thin, stupid like thinner-than-a-iPhone-4 thin. The camera is as well: the recordings (although the iPhone 4 tweaks his photos makes pleasant), 1080p video (which Murderfaces of the iPhone 4 indoor's) and Samsung's more camera-y interface. (Samples can be had here or below in the gallery.) Samsung AMOLED Super plus display beautiful, if something is missing for pixel will continue to be.
If this is what we can expect as a baseline for the next 6 months of Android phones, in well I can live with it.
What I can to live: Samsung's terribly gauche custom software/interface TouchWiz. There are no Android Phonemaker on the planet, which surpasses what already do the Google with Android. (Not to say that Android interface is good: just a serious nerd / Web Developer friend battle with a clean build of Android last week was eye opening in this respect.) Normal people, that sure, Android is confusing. But to a real nerd to? (HRM). I really wish Samsung would find what is Alchemy plastic to create, the desire for a horribly mean joke not required. The inconsistency is jarring: the best of technology, the worst of the materials. Ugh.
This is the international version of the Galaxy s II, so it is available in the United States - and it will probably carry a different name depending on your operator, just like the original Galaxy. Update: I have confirmed, I have the Exynos 4210-powered model, not the Tegra 2 equivalent.
